Traveling to Elgin Fringe

September is off to an eventful start! We performed at the Detroit Dance City Festival on September 6, taught a workshop in Lansing on September 7, a few of us also performed in Terpsichore Collective’s fall concert on September 13-14, and I performed at Earthwork Harvest Gathering on September 22. NEXT on our full month of performance is Elgin Fringe Festival in Elgin, Illinois.

We’re on the road, preparing for a full weekend of performing and watching other performances. Can’t wait to see our friends at Ambo Dance Theatre and to make new friends with dancers and artists from all over who are congregating in Illinois.

Nicole, Mac, Rachel M, and Amy (me!) are performing excerpts of our Body Works concert that we premiered in May. We will share “Raised Eyebrows and Twitching Lips,” “Duality,” and “Stretch Marks” with all new audiences. It’s been a fun process to recast and continue working on these pieces.
